Udayan Basu - Founder & CEO
Udayan is a seasoned professional with over three decades of extensive experience in capital markets, encompassing Asset management, Investment Banking and Private Equity.
In a career span of over 40 years, Udayan served many institutions of repute including Zurich Asset, Principal Asset, Mirae Asset. Daiwa Asset from the MNC segment and JM Finance & Indiabulls Asset Management from the domestic asset management industry.
He started his career in the financial services business with the Bank of India. Prior to initiation with the corporate world, Udayan served the Indian Army as a short service commissioned officer.. His last assignment was with Azure Capital Advisors, a leading firm focussed on Private Equity and Alternative Asset class, with a focus on Real Estate. He was the MD & CEO of the firm and served it for over seven years, before he set up Midas Capital Advisors.
Udayan is alumnus of Delhi School of Economics and has a MBA from IIMM and a CFP.
Girija Jethwani - GP & Investment Advisor
Girija is finance professional with over two decades of experience, covering varied sectors like financial journalism to equity research and private banking. She began her career at the Indian Express Group. She then invested several years in the equity research division of the HSBC Group's investment banking business in India. She moved to New York briefly, where she pursued Private Banking.
Girija holds a Global M.B.A. from the University of South Carolina

Sanjay Chandel
Sanjay is a well reputed financial services professional with over 30 years of extensive experience in Securities regulatory environment, Capital markets, encompassing investment banking, private equity and real estate. Sanjay started hs career with SEBI and served the regulatory body for over 12 years in various departments at senior management level,closely working with the the past Chairman and having oversight on the development and control on the securities business. He later led the team at Indiabulls Housing Finance and was instrumental in setting up IEX. He later infused capital to build up Azure Capital Advisors and oversaw its successful closure.
Currently Sanjay operates from the UK, where he is engaged in management of Real Estate Investment vehicles, in addition to helping StartUps in raising funds and mentoring them.
Shailesh Ghorpade
Shailesh has close to 30 years of experience in Project & Corporate Finance, M&A, Strategy, and Private Equity Real Estate (PERE) investments across companies in Financial Services, Energy, IT and Real Estate sectors. He has held senior positions in companies like Birla Global Finance, Tata Finance, Infosys Technologies and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
He was Chief Strategy and Planning Officer at Suzlon Energy, then ranked #3 globally in Wind Energy
Shailesh has consulted for several Fortune 500 companies in Europe and the USA and has led large transformation programs in his previous assignments.
Currently Shailesh is the MD & CEO of Exfinity Venture Partners, a Venture Capital Fund based in Bengaluru, managing over USD 1.5 Billion in AUM. . Prior to founding Exfinity, Shailesh was the CEO & Co-founder of Azure Capital, a boutique real estate private equity fund.
Shailesh is MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
Ajay Arora
Ajay is a seasoned international executive with over 30 years of extensive experience in capital markets, covering areas like investment banking, retail sales of financial products, asset management, private banking, and multi-family office management. Ajay has a robust understanding of Indian, Middle Eastern, and Asian markets and is experienced in marketing financial products across the US, UK, Europe, Latin America, Japan, and Australia. His notable professional stints include roles at Kotak Mahindra, IL&FS Investsmart, Deutsche Asset Management, and Mashreq Bank.
Ajay's achievements include managing public issues, mergers and acquisitions, and capital structuring as an Investment Banker, where he also conducted India's first-ever bought-out deal.
Ajay now runs as Partner to Amanat Family Office limited , a multi family office based out of Hong Kong and Dubai.
A Chartered Accountant with a postgraduate degree in Management,
Ajay also holds a Business and Marketing diploma from Ross Business School, Michigan, and qualifications from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, UK.
Saji Mathews
Saji is CFA, MBA, is an experienced finance and marketing professional with extensive qualifications including a BSc, CAIIB, and an Advanced Management Program in Banking & Finance. His immediate past role was the Director of Private Banking at Mashreq Bank since October 2022.
Previously, Saji worked at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (2008-2022) in various capacities, including as Excellency Relationship Manager and Product Manager for Investments. His earlier roles include positions at Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, LIC Home Finance, and Indian Express.
Saji holds an MBA from Strathclyde University, Scotland, and has specialised qualifications from IIM Kozhikode and IIM Calcutta. His career spans significant achievements in managing investment products, advising high-net-worth individuals, and leading sales teams, particularly in the UAE and Indian markets.
